From the e.Librarian ...
Many of our visitors
have expressed interest in helping support the work done here at The
e.Lib, and we really do need your support. We are incorporated as a
non-profit organization, which means that donations are tax-deductible
(see below). We are not supported by any outside organization.
We do seek and receive grants ... but the majority of our funding comes
from the generosity of readers and researchers, such as yourself.
Keeping everything
online, and trying to find time to add to the content, is very
challenging. At present, we have almost 40,000 visitors to our
websites on a daily basis, requiring an extensive investment in
bandwidth and equipment. Our servers are housed in a separate, secure
facility, designed specifically for computers that serve information to
the Internet. They are accessible, by us, from anywhere in the world!
There are several ways
you can help keep this valuable information online: You can donate
online through our secure online payment system, by using Paypal, or
send your check or money order by regular mail ... all domestic and
foreign currencies are gladly accepted! Archive TextAds are a
non-intrusive way to get your message out to our large viewership.
